Bubble tea preorders are still being taken for two more days by the business club at the foyer, which will be delivered to classes in block three on Monday. “People can place orders by pre-paying and filling out a form with information regarding what bubble tea flavour and toppings they want, including personal information, such as their name and block three classroom,” says Grace Lee, president of business club.
Payment will be cash only. The cost is still to be decided, but the profit is to go towards buying bear bins. According to Lee, “Teachers have found this to [be] a need in the school,”.
Wonderland Bubble tea, a store across the street from Gleneagle, will be supplying the bubble tea for the sale. On the flavours, Lee says, “We are not too certain on which flavours will be offered as we are contacting different bubble tea stores. In previous years, we have had flavours ranging from Black Sugar Milk Tea, Peach Green Tea, Taro Milk Tea, Lemon Iced Tea, and Classic Milk Tea. We plan to keep it to the most popular bubble tea flavours to fill the needs of our school.”
There are five committees within the business club organizing this event. The design committee will be designing posters. The logistics committee will be getting permissions from places around the school to take certain actions. The marketing / promotion committee will be planning and doing talon talks. The outreach committee will be finding sponsors, and finally, the finance committee will keep track of and manage the money.
