The Three-body Problem consists of three book sections. The story mainly describes the astrophysicist Ye Wenjie’s despair for human beings caused by the Cultural Revolution in China, so she leaked the coordinates of the Earth to the Three-body civilization and hoped that the Three-body civilization could save the earth civilization. On the other hand, the technology of the Three-body civilization exceeded that of the Earth civilization, but their living environment was extremely harsh, which caused them to send a fleet to occupy the earth immediately after receiving the earth coordinates. It will take 450 years for the Three-body civilization to arrive on Earth, the earth civilization needs to figure out a way to defend itself against the Three-body fleet before it arrives. Four people were chosen by the Earth civilization to come up with and implement ways to defeat Three-body civilization. Eventually, one of the four, a scientist named Luo-Ji, threatened the Three-body civilization to give up invading Earth by sending the coordinates of the Three Body planet into space. The threatened Three-body civilization finally retreats and reaches a truce with Earth civilization

In this book, the author describes his vast world view and exquisite character images. First, he tells how the heroine Ye Wenjie despises mankind in the Cultural Revolution and foreshadows his subsequent revelation of coordinates to the Three-body civilization. The environment setting of Three-body civilization is described through the way the protagonist plays the game. The author’s imagination is also very rich, allowing the Three-body civilization to use quantum detectors to detect the science and technology of the earth civilization and to block the scientific and technological development of the earth by using quantum detectors.Overall, as a science fiction novel, the Three-Body Problem is highly recommended to read. The world view and the imagination of the author are excellent.
