-Learning is holistic, reflexive, reflective, experiential, and relational (focused on connectedness, on reciprocal relationships, and a sense of place).
Learning is more than just memorizing knowledge, it emphasizes an integrated learning method, like a puzzle where all the pieces fit together. It involves understanding things deeply, thinking about our own thinking, learning from real-life experiences, and recognizing the importance of the connections between all things.
Connecting with others is important in my learning process. For a group project, we had to research and present a historical event. Working with my classmates and listening to different perspectives not only enhanced my understanding, but also showed me the power of working together. So I realized that learning is not just about individual effort, but about building relationships and sharing knowledge.
If I have a mistake, I will reflect and find ways to solve it. This has been very beneficial to me. Because learning isn’t just about getting the right answer, it’s about understanding the learning process and growing from it.I chose this principle because it gets at the essence of learning – it’s not only limited to textbooks and classrooms; it’s also a connected reflection that involves both personal growth and making connections with the world around me.
