Today I looked at the definitely interesting web page of the Sd43 New Media Blog Page. I found some articles I would like to write my experiences with, what I learned from them, and what some of my favorite elements of these articles were. I will be giving my full opinion on these articles, and sharing what I think about them.
Today I also read the blog post “The Importance of continuing to learn and act”. I very much enjoyed reading about this students wonderful grandpa and the impact that he has made in peoples lives. I learned that Mineo Kushiro loves to grow peaches and grapes. From what I can read this old-timer is a wonderful man, a man I would inspire to be one day. Also reading on this blog post, I learned lots of new things about Japanese Culture I would not have known without this article.
My final read of the day was of this persons grandpa. This article entails the story of one of our fine students at sd43’s grandpa and his army experiences. I learned that this grandpas favorite place to fly was Nepal. This Grandpa almost fought in world war II, as he likes to tell his family and friends about. While this Pilot was not flying, he was residing in England, where he had lived most his life.
Today I also learned about a woman named Cathie Hemeon. She is a beloved woman who lives in Fort St James and works in the social working world with Native People. Cathi had always wanted this career choice since she was a child, talking on call with her friends about sensitive subjects. Cathie is a loving and caring person in the world, which there are not many left.
What I learned from these 3 articles
I have sure learned a lot from reading these amazing articles today, it was a lot of fun. I learned about a variety of subjects, most of them I had no clue on beforehand. I hope this blog post gives some inspiration to someone for them to go out and read a couple articles or blog posts, and learn something from them
