The importance of images

The article “FATHER LOSES LARGE AMOUNTS OF JEWELRY IN A ROBBERY – ELDER’S INTERVIEW” by Jaymus Choi is about Jaymus’ father who had been robbed in his car and the story what happened around the experienced. This article is a good example for the importance of image. The presence of many images and illustrations makes the story much more comprehensible and interesting to read. It is also easier to visualize the situation which happens.
A good written story

The article “THE STORY OF A BOY STUCK IN WAR” written by Taha Asadi is about his father‘s life during the Iran-Iraq war and what he experienced in that time. During the reading I noticed that the story is very good written and that he used important parts of the text such as his father’s quotes in the right spots. This makes the words more powerful. The good formulation of the article makes the text more pleasant to read and easier to visualize what happened. The text contains all the important information and has a good length.
Personal writing

The article “AMANDA GAO – FROM NOTHING TO EVERYTHING” by Lucia Chen is about Amanda Gao‘s experience in the Tangshan earthquake, which destroyed everything she owned, and about her perseverance, through which she recovers and gets herself to the very top. When I read the article could notice directly that it was written with a personal connection to the person and the theme, what appealed to me very much. The personal writing of the story makes it much better imaginable.
