Taha Asadi’s article “The Story of a Boy Stuck in War” is well written and well summarized. Something to note about his article is the tasteful use of photos. They are used as an expansion of the already clear picture he has painted with his words. I admire the aesthetics of the post, as well as the way he used his Father’s quotes powerfully. I really felt like I was given an open window into his fathers story. I can certainly take notes from his work in order to create a more visually rich experience for my readers.

In CATHIE HEMEON’S JOURNEY INTO SOCIAL WORK ON RESERVES, Chloe Summer brilliantly tells of her Grandmother’s job as a social worker. Particularly, one that works in Indigenous communities. The reflection portion of this article is fantastic as it relates the story told to real life struggle, and gives a personal look into the way her difficult job effects her mental health. Even more, it gives us a first-hand account as to the living conditions of some Indigenous people. I really enjoyed how much detail she went into and how she made the story an easy yet upsetting read.

Father Loses Large Amount of Jewellery in a Robbery – Elder Interview, sees Jaymus Choi telling the frustrating and entertaining story of his father’s car being broken into, having jewelry for his job stolen. I enjoyed the diagram/map that was drawn. It allowed for proper visualization. The story was overall intriguing and had the ability to capture my attention while evoking that fear we all have of being robbed. Overall, great story and article, I can try to emulate his ability to make a simple story so intriguing.
