Climate change is getting worse day by day is a large issue for us, our planet, and wild animals. We should understand how climate change affect us, and we must work hard together to control it.

Many wild animals are affected by climate change and according to Red List which the International Union for Conservation of Nature, over 38,543 wild animals are endangered species, and over 4,000 of them are endangered because of global warming. In 2000, there were only 15 endangered by climate change, yet 2020, the number had jumped to more than 4000.

Climate change has become more severe and the global environment has changed rapidly. These also have a large impact; increased drought, storms flooding, and fire and rising temperatures. As climate change and temperatures change, foods that were originally eaten may no longer be growing, and large changes in vegetation and biota over large areas can alter the local climate.

The example of wild animals that affected by climate change is polar bear. They live in the Arctic and hunt seals on the sea ice, but during summer, as ice melts, they spend all their time without eating anything. Therefore, they will not be able to hunt their enough foods and will get weak, or not be able to breed if global warming will lead to longer ice-free periods. According to United States Geological Survey, if global warming continues at this rate, they could lose as much as 42 percent of the summer sea ice for their survival. Moreover, some scientists predict that the number of them will decrease to 2/3 by the time.

To make this problem better we can save energy at home. Much of our electricity and heat are powered by coal, oil and gas so reducing electricity use reduces carbon dioxide emissions. In addition, walking or riding a bike can help to stop climate change. By doing that instead of driving will reduce greenhouse gas emissions. There are a lot of things that we can do to make this problem better. We should act now.
