Hello! My name is Yuliia Nikitina, and I have a couple of things to talk about myself. I am currently 14 years old. I have been living in Canada for 5 years since 2018. I came from Ukraine from the city of Zaporozhe. When I came to Canada I lived in Richmond, it wasn’t the best time living since we had a very small apartment, I was supposed to go to 4th grade but instead I went straight to 5th.
I lived there half a year and after that I moved to New Westminster, it was much better in the new place and the school was great too, I made some good friends there. After living there for a bit, we decided to move to Coquitlam, that’s where I live now, and I hope I don’t move anymore because this place is the best out of all. I went to the Coquitlam middle school and after studying there I was supposed to go to Pinetree, but everyone told me that it is a school with less artistic directions. Since I knew that I’m not so great at math science or physics, but I love art and programs to be creative in I decided to do some research and found out that Gleneagle is the school I need, there was an art program that I wanted to sign up for, to do that I had to answer questions that had to be 100 words in a huge paragraph.
After I did a big amount of writing I uploaded my work. It took only a couple of days to get feedback, but to my surprise the email said that I’m not going to be accepted. I was sad that my hard work wasn’t good enough for the program, I wanted to reread the email that they send to me just to make sure if I was right, while reading it, soon I realized that there was a bit more of text. When I scrolled, I saw that they didn’t accept me because there weren’t enough people in the program. After all I still got to choose an art course, and it was very nice since I had some friends in that class that were the best. Some of the things I love doing is drawing on my computer.
I also like to work in programs and create models of which I then code for example, blender, Roblox Studio. I also have a tutor for graphics art and Roblox Studio.
