While television can be educational, a biography on Mateo Campo and what his goals/dreams and his best achievements are. Because he aspires to be the best he can be, and his goal is to impact people in a great way. He enjoys writing because it is a way you can communicate with everyone and are able to share your ideas with anyone, and with all those goals one day he hopes to be successful enough to provide for his family. Image source

Gleneagle secondary school, Coquitlam, BC, Canada

Mateo is a Grade 10 student who goes to Gleneagle secondary school. He is Hispanic since his parents are Ecuadorian and Colombian. Although Mateo’s Family originates from South America his parents moved to the United States and were later born in Miami, Florida. He moved to Vancouver, British Columbia when he was 2 years old. Image source

BC Christian Academy, Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada

 The first school he attended was a school called “British Columbia Christian Academy” near Port Coquitlam. He later attended “Eagle Ridge Elementary” After that he went to Scott Creek Middle School and now, he is currently a student in Gleneagle Secondary School. 

Throughout Mateo’s life, he has always enjoyed traveling since his mom works for an airline company. His top 3 places (not in order) he’s traveled to are Hawaii, Ecuador, and Mexico. He loves traveling because it gives him the opportunity to able to see the world and learn about others cultures. The thing Mateo really likes when traveling is the weather because most of the places he’s been to have sunny weather unlike Vancouver which doesn’t have much sunny weather, so that’s why he likes tropical places because of the weather and beaches that he doesn’t see back home. In the future, Mateo would like to travel a lot more (especially in Europe) because he would like to experience life in those places and explore the beautiful sights there.

The art of sports can be a beautiful thing to watch and Mateo enjoys both playing and watching sports. His favorite sports are Soccer, and basketball; considering he grew up watching and playing those sports (especially soccer) it has grown on him and he loves to watch them. His favorite soccer teams are Manchester City and F.C Barcelona. He also supports his national teams which are mostly Colombia since they have a better team even though they did not qualify for the World Cup this year and it made him sad. He will still continue to support Ecuador and Canada though. He also enjoys watching the NBA and their favorite teams are the Clippers and the Warriors because they have 2 of his favorite players of all time which are Kawhi Leonard and Stephen curry. Those are his favorite players because their story is impactful and very inspiring considering how far they’ve come. He would like to go to one of their games this season since their home games are close to Vancouver.  

Mateo enjoys watching movies because they are so diverse and they always make you feel something. Mateo’s favorite movies are Prisoners, The Amazing Spider-Man, The social network, Grown ups, and Get Out. 

Mateo’s favorite childhood memory is going to Disneyland because he saw it as someplace magical and amazing like most kids when they go for their first time). Someday he would like to go back because it has changed so much since his first visit.  

In conclusion, Mateo has shared parts of his life and interesting facts about him. Hopefully next time you read some of Mateos future work you can remember some of these facts about him and know more about the writer.
