The girls’ rugby team have made a big win streak in their past three games, making their way up the Fraser north league. In their most recent game, Gleaneagle beats West Van in an amazing 47-7 Victory on April 27th! “The game went very well. We got every sub on the field, and everyone played very well.” said Hailey Mynott. “All of our athletes are getting better every day!” said Coach Quinto.

But the team faced an unfortunate injury with Hailey Stewart dislocating her knee in-game. “Despite being a very new squad with little to no previous experience, our athletes have been committed to each other and playing with confidence. I am very happy!” added Quinto. Later this month, the team is slated to play in the zone finals, versing Charles Best on Thursday May 19th at Glen. “But it’s not too late to join our team, we are always open to new players!” Mynott concluded.
