The student council now preparing the new project, the Spring carnival. After the BC government lifted the further restriction on April 8, 2022. Student Council can put more time and resource into the recovery of the school community and spirits.
Spring carnival is the biggest event this year, many students were excited about the student council to Bring back this kind of huge event after a long period of time online learning. “I am really excited about the Spring carnival So that I can make friends and have a great time. This is my first-time Join this kind of event, I hope to make my memory of high school more significant.” Said Rudolf Xie, a grade 11 student.
On April 25th, the student council hosted a meeting about an invitation to all clubs to help with the spring carnival. During the meeting, The Student Council wants every club to create their own activities/games/ booth for the carnival. Every club is working hard on the events.
“We want to create some special activities, so we have organized the whole club working on this event, and we have put a lot of time and resources. So that, we can bring everybody an unforgettable moment.” Said Leo Zhou, One of the Club leaders.” Our club has generated some Ideas for this event such as Gaming corners, special stickers, etc.
this event will bring back the school spirit, rebuild the school community, and quickly recovered from the effect of the Pandemic, the students are looking forward to this event and had high expectation of this. The student council was working hard to set up the spring carnival.
