With Micrsoft buying Activision and Blizzard the gaming industry is going to change, with Microsoft owning all the Xbox series as well this might mean that some games are going to become Xbox exclusives. If they do then that would bring a lot of people from Sony entertainment to Microsoft/Xbox.

After Microsoft buying the companies for 68.7 billion dollars, they are the third largest gaming company in the world behind TenCent and Sony. The strategy behind all the buying is to increase their game pass monthly revenue, after they announced they bought Activison and Blizzard their game pass reached 25 million users, they all pay a monthly fee of 20 dollars which is 504 million dollars a month.

Some of the big games Microsoft got are the Call of Duty series, World of Warcraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, Crash Bandicoot, Candy Crush, Tony hawk pro skater, and the Spyro series, with all these now most likely becoming Xbox exclusive there will be a flood of people coming from other consoles like Nintendo and Play station, which will increase the monthly revenue of Microsoft even more.

Microsoft came out as buying the game 2 months after the Microsoft CEO “described the sexual harassment and discrimination scandal at Activision Blizzard as “horrific,” and said Microsoft was “evaluating all aspects” of its relationship with the company.”
