The Capitol Hill massacre in Seattle, Washington was a heartbreaking event, in this event, a reckless man killed some innocent people, and then; when he was about to get caught he took his own life so that he wouldn’t be punished. this event happened on the evening of March 24, 2006, a 28-year-old named Kyle Aaron Huff killed these innocent people at a party.
It starts from the night that he was invited to attend an after-party for an event called “Better Off Undead” at a private residence.
Huff left the event around 4 AM on March 25 to attend the after-party, he didn’t know anyone at the party, but he pleasantly spoke to some of them but shockingly there was no altercation or belligerent behavior exhibited by Huff.
After he left the after-party he went to his large truck; From the truck, he retrieved a 12-gauge pistol-grip shotgun and a 40-caliber semiautomatic handgun, and several bandoliers with more than 300 rounds of ammunition for the guns.
He went back to the after-party, he sprayed the word “NOW” on the sidewalk. He shot five people that were talking outside of the party, he went to the party and shot two more people.
An officer named Steve Leonard heard the shooting and headed to the party and after that, the police showed up but before the police could arrest him, Huff placed the gun into his mouth and took his own life.
This story could be similar in some ways to the man who killed transgender teens and killed himself in jail.
Woodburn man has been accused of kidnapping and killing a transgender teenager, it also has been said that he shoots the police and after he got arrested he was put in jail without bail on charges of murder, kidnapping, attempted murder, and assault in the death of a 17-year-old, he killed himself in the jail.
So, it makes this two news very similar to each other because the murderer took his own life after being caught.
