Rugby is a sport at Gleneagle that’s open to everyone, so anyone can play as long as they bring rugby shorts and socks, soccer boots, and a water bottle, which can all be bought at the mall.

Practices are held occasionally after school but can be postponed by the rain and other weather stuff. Rugby practices have been doing well so far with Mr Quinto calling it a “good mixture of returning players and newcomers.”

The first rugby scrimmage was planned for 3:30, February 20 at Charles Best, and the schedule for other rugby practices can be found in the Gleneagle calendar app.

In 2018, the girl’s rugby team finished 4th in BC and were finalists in Fraser Valley.
